Who: Joshua, and maybe even you??
What: Josh being Josh, but also kind of being in a bad mood
Where: Tower of Terror, and thenexcuses to be elsewhere
When: Over the next few days?
Warnings: N/A I'll add if anything comes up
[A]
[Today, if you decide to pay a visit to the Tower of Tower, for once you'll actually see Joshua here, doing his job?? WHAT??
... Granted, he's not the chipper ride attendant that Rod would probably want right now, though. If anything he seems to be really bored, even reading some ridiculous magazines while in the elevator with the guests and simply flipping a page when the drop hits. Once the elevator comes to a stop--]
Something something Twilight Zone, you heard the video enough times to guess what I'm going to say, go on and get out of the elevator already unless you want to ride again.
[So that's how Josh's work day is going, apparently.]
[B]
[Sometime later, Josh leaves work and finds an empty open space to do something that he hasn't done in a very, very long time: practicing with his powers that the cards have given him here. Namely, the random-acting Genie Lamp card. Normally, his magnificent omniscience would be able to predict what effect the card is going to have when he chooses to use it, but... that is not the case here in this place.
As such, anyone who comes across him today will find him attempting to use the card and use it in a manner that benefits him somehow, but so far, he seems to be slowly becoming frustrated, before he finally uses it to accidentally set fire to a tree nearby. Whoops...]
[C]
[Late tonight, you may be able to spot Joshua... sitting on the top of the roof where he and Tadashi live. How did he get up there without the use of his wings like he would have before? Who knows. Regardless, he's here, looking at the night sky and occasionally looking down at anyone if they happen to actually be passing by at this late hour. Say hello?]

C!
He doesn't really seem like a climbing type of person.
Tadashi isn't either, at least not this late at night, so he's on the ground peering up at Joshua.]
Can't sleep?
no subject
... Mm, something like that. I take it that you haven't been able to get any sleep yet either?
no subject
[With a few exceptions. He's actually been able to sleep better here having someone someone he knows nearby than he would otherwise.]
Mind if I come up?

no subject
Huh.
[He's had a little more practice with the card since he got it, so at least he doesn't embarrass himself by flailing his way up to Joshua, but he does have to use the building a little to keep from floating the wrong direction.]
Well, that answers the first question I had.
no subject
Oh? What was your second question, then?
no subject
...Just kidding, t's the first one. I hardly ever use that card, so it's good that someone is.

Hey-
[He looks directly to Joshua, also annoyed.]
What'd it ever do to you?
no subject
[Normally he wouldn't tack that on, would play along and even exaggerate about the tree having poor judge in character or the like, but he's not in the mood to do so.]
no subject
There's no need to take your bad mood out on the plantlife.

What's your problem, kid?

Oh hey, magazines. I've heard of those. Those are those non-movie things with words in them aren't they?
no subject
[Sort of giving you a look here like he's not sure what to think at that question, but hey, at least you have his attention now.]
no subject
Mind if I just stand here and read the covers aloud? I'm kind of desperate to give a hot take on something.
See, normally instead of doing my job I'd just be drinking beer and talking shit about movies. But since I don't have beer or movies I'm kind of starved for content.
[Said like this is absolutely normal.]
no subject
Well, I can't say I'm not curious to know what kind of "hot take" you'd have here--go ahead and take a look.
[Instead of simply just holding up the magazine to let Mike look at the cover, he actually holds out the magazine itself to let Mike take and flip through.]
no subject
He picks the weird tigger one first.]
Oh my god so much purple, it's like Tim Burton got allergies and sneezed all over this cover. You know, like most of his movies.
[Mutters some more as he reads.]
Why would this weasel need plastic surgery? Like all this...crap. Could be very superficial, like at a Halloween store.

I mean imagine being a tiger and somehow one evolves into an emo.

[Here's Count Olaf! He's dressed as Rod, alebit in a horrible disguise that just involved him taking a bucket of grey paint and throwing it on himself.]
no subject
Oh, thanks for the reminder of who you are, I'd hate to have confused you with Charlie Brooker instead.

[That's totally what you meant when you asked him to repeat the Twilight Zone monologue, right?]
