[After arriving, Saber quickly takes to her job as ride operator for the King Arthur Carousel. The name is a little...on the nose, and the sword in the stone across the way vexes her, though she tries to avoid paying it much attention.

Though she's still adjusting to the job, she stands attentively by the controls to let people on, and begin the ride when ready, wearing a name tag that has "Saber" scribbled over whatever originally lay underneath.]

[In her downtime, Saber has taken to exploring around the park, getting a feel for the area. This has also led to her passing by numerous food stalls offering up things she had never even seen before.

As a result, she can be found wandering the Magic Kingdom with arms full of a variety of treats (including multiple Dole Whips), looking rather small in contrast to the burden she's carrying.]

So far? I find it amusing. Not to mention a lot more lively than the last place I used to be in.

What kind of place was that?

[lusito]

Nothing much. Just a building where several of us were being held hostage for the purposes of killing each other, is all.

[avalion]

Oh.

[She doesn't...have words for that.]

Hey, don't look so down about it: if it's any consolation, several of us did manage to escape and later take down the ones responsible for that situation.

[avalion]

Did they promise you anything for winning?

[lusito]

In the beginning, it was the promise of letting the winner go back home, but as the weeks went by, they started coming up with different motivations to try to entice someone to act. "Kill someone, or else we'll kill all of your loved ones", "Kill someone, and get your deepest wish granted", you get the idea.

[avalion]

Your deepest wish granted...

[Her face falls ever so slightly with those words.]

No one should be forced into that situation.

Try telling that to the people that decide to run these things: they had at least four of these games before they were shutdown and prevented from continuing further.

[avalion]

Four of them?

[The situation beared some resemblance to the Holy Grail Wars, but, at least to some degree there were no unwilling participants, despite how twisted it ended up becoming.]

How did it end?

[lusito]

Several of us broke out the people who had died in the game and were thus trapped in the underworld, and then fought Hades and his associates that were involved in that situation.

[... Because that sure escalated quickly.]

[avalion]

[That...is a lot, but she's not going to comment on it.]

So everyone was saved?

[lusito]

Everyone that could be saved, yes.
