EVENT LOG PT. 2 Well you tried to have fun
Who: Everyone at the party
What: An intruder changes plans
Where: The Adventurer's Club
When: Later in the night on the Fourth of July
Warnings: Cartoonish Evil Doers
[All in all, the party’s gone off without a hitch so far, Food was eaten, fun was had, and it just seems like a pretty normal event so far!
That is, until the light’s suddenly shut off in the Adventurer’s Club. After about a minute of confused panic, a spotlight suddenly shines down on on who can only be described as a strange suited furry. He grins at the party goers around him.]
Welcome, foolish mortals, I’ve had my eye on this city and I thought we would play a little game.
All the doors and windows are locked in this building, so there’s no way in, and most importantly for you, NO WAY OUT.
Your little party has become an indefinite stay here, with one catch: You have to kill one of your fellow party goers and get away with it!
Now, why don’t you all make this fun?
[OOC: As a note: The second part of the event won’t last for more than a few hours ICly for those worried about being trapped here. But of course there has to be some way out of this mess, right?]

He's heard passing details about the whole "murdergame" thing that happened- enough to get the gist of what's happening.
Beaker pulls his head into his shirt collar nervously, meeping to himself. If he catches the eye of one of the ones from those rounds, he'll try to get their attention to ask:]
Mee-mimuhmeep minimuh meep...? Minimuhmi meep minuh-mi meep mi muh?
[Do you recognize this guy...? From the "murder" things you guys have mentioned?
Aside from that, he'll be trying to keep out of the way of this guy, growing progressively more nervous as time goes on and they still remain trapped. The longer they're stuck here, the more high strung Beaker gets, to the point where he might wind up pulling his Magic Ribbon card on anyone who surprises him.
More time and a few more glasses of wine later, and Beaker might actually try his hand at investigating the area for any way out.]

[ Lets try grabbing a fork and approaching New Guy. ]

You don't think I don't know how to deal with mice?
no subject
He could likely dodge a simple kick with ease if he dropped the fork for a second--but he's not doing that. Instead, he's gonna attempt to side-step the kick while charging at the other ankle with his fork. How's that work out? ]

[Skin suit???
The common sense in Beaker is telling him that's horrifying, the dumbass scientist in him is telling him he absolutely needs to research that concept for future camouflage-based experiments.
Regardless-]
Mi-muhmeep minimeep mi muh?
[How did you guys get out of the murdergame stuff, before?]

Mee-miminimeep mimuh meep minimuh mee-meep-mimimeep. Muh. Minimeep mi-mimi meep muh?
[Beaker's gonna take a look around the area for possible ways out while the rest of you. Uh. Try to murder this guy with chairs and silverware?]

If you find anything resembling paint thinner, that may be of some assistance. You might keep an eye out for that as well.
[ Basil's not completely certain New Guy is in fact a toon, but throwing paint thinner at him would (probably) just be ineffective at worst. No reason to not try it. ]

[Paint thinner? Why paint thinner?]

[
or that one trial which might break reality if spoken about]no subject
[Probably not... Especially if what the others say is true. Do you have anything on hand that could help get us out?]
no subject
The probability of it backfiring might be at seventy-five percent, but I'll try anyway.
[Time to shoot the cannon at the door. Here goes something!]
no subject
Of course, jumping right in front of him with a morning star is probably considered "surprising".]

[Beaker casts the Magic Ribbon on impulse, aiming it before he realizes it's Star. Here comes a ribbon of felt, star! Have fun!]
