Rod hecked up a little
Who: Rod and you
What: Well... you might be here awhile...
Where: At the transport center
When: Tuesday Morning
Warnings: None atm!
[On Tuesday morning, everyone will receive a letter when they wake up, no matter where they're staying for the night. It's neatly typed and just states:
Please meet me at the Transport Center at 10 AM. I have something important to discuss with everyone.
When they arrive at the center, they will find Rod already there, with a box of envelopes. When he speaks, he looks a little sheepish.]
Good morning everyone, I am deeply sorry to say that whatever is wrong with the portals, it's tricky enough that you might be here for awhile. And after an enlightening conversation with Red, we've decided that we should at least make accommodation's for everyone.
As it is providing a lot of stress on Red to provide free food and board daily, we decided that, for the time being, everyone will live in Vista Way for free. It's a nice apartment complex, but if you are unsatisfied with the housing you may move out once you've accumulated enough money.
On that note, that's what this box is for. While you'll be staying here, we thought it would be best to give everyone a job so they would have something to do. We won't be forcing everyone to have a job, and if you're dissatisfied with the job you were given, we can consider giving you a more appropriate job, but having a wage and something to do while we fix the problem might be nice.
I should add that you're starting pay will be around 15 "Disney dollars" an hour, but if that's an unreasonable minimum wage I am willing to increase the wage to something more livable.
Finally, in each envelope with your assigned job, there's also a couple of Magic Cards in here as an apology for the inconvenience. I ask you not to abuse their power, but you can test them as much as you want while you're here using your Magicband.
If you have any questions regarding the situation, I will be happy to answer them.
[He sets the box down, and true to his word, there are envelopes with each guest's name on it, and inside it is your assigned job, starting date, and two different Magic Cards.]

Right?
He joins the group anyway, and takes his envelope. Inside isn't a picture or some sort of threat, but...two cards and a second letter, this time telling him he now works at something called Joffrey's. That's...convenient. He knows his way around coffee well enough, but it'll be weird working alongside only strangers and not his family.
As for the cards...everyone else is testing theirs, and that doesn't sound like a bad idea. Just gonna tap the flight card against his MagicBand and
immediately shoot several feet in the air.]
Wh-whoa! [Does it always do that, or did it just happen because he's never used it before.] Cool...
no subject
Just so you know, if you never get down from there I'm becoming the new you.
[Listen he just. Really likes this card.]
no subject
That's dark as hell, kid.
no subject
[He guesses. He doesn't actually know how it works.]
no subject
Wha...that doesn't work if I'm still here, you know.
[He'll just...float lower to the ground. Or try to, it doesn't work very well and he only descends about a foot. So, he just taps the card to deactivate it and falls the four feet to the ground, nearly falling over but staying miraculously upright.]
no subject
Then leave.
no subject
[Did...he actually think that would work?]
no subject
Well, I can tell you right now there's not going to be enough room in this town for two of you. [wait.] Two of us.
no subject
Second of all...he's just going to punch his doppelganger in the face in lieu of a response. He'll aim for the face, anyway, he doesn't know how good the other guy's reflexes are.]
no subject
He's got fairly quick reflexes, but seeing as he honestly wasn't expecting a punch it still manages to get him pretty good in the jaw even as he jerks backwards. He's stunned for a solid couple of seconds before just getting really, really offended over it.]
Hey! That's no way to treat yourself!

no subject
[He's not done fighting yet, aiming another punch for Sheldon's face.]

Who says I’m impersonating you? Maybe I’m your long-lost twin. Or maybe I am you.
