Event log END: Plankton tried and failed

[It’s over. The Dreamfinder is saved. The Plankton Gremlins are gone, and everything is back to normal.

Well, mostly.

The very next morning, everyone who participated in the festival/saving the festival will once again wake up with a brand new card and an invitation for an emergency meeting.

Once again Rod is there, and once again he looks tired but he stands up straight once a crowd gathers.]

Good morning everyone, due to recent events Red and I had an emergency meeting on the state of affairs. I know this may be rash, and it might not be a popular opinion since he’s only been mayor for a month. However, between kidnapping someone that i consider a friend and important asset to the town and letting loose gremlins on Epcot, we have no choice but to impeach Plankton, effective immediately. I am aware that this is usually the kind of decision one needs to vote for, but after all Plankton’s done after a month, along as never attending a single actual meeting, as the creator of this realm I believe I am perfectly justified in my decision.

We plan on holding another election in the near future, as I don’t want to keep status quo just because of one bad mayor. However, for the time being I will resume the role as the mayor, and I will happily listen to any remarks or criticisms anyone has about this scenario or about how we should run this place.

[OOC: Event end! As mentioned we will intend on holding another election in the future, but it will be a smaller event than the first election and it probably won't be the only monthly event in that case. If we left you out of the list or if you got a double please let us know and we’ll fix it right away!]

[Just shoves the card into Belle's hands because she doesn't want to touch it anymore.]

Ghosts! Why is it always ghosts!? I don't wanna be a ghost! Who thought that was a good idea to put in there!?

Ghosts...? [Belle studies the card in her hand, turning it over with a frown.] Who would want a card that makes them a ghost?

[Glancing back up at Star with a worried frown:]

Are you okay?

Right? Ghosts are the worst! Nobody should wanna be a ghost!

[She plops down on the ground and draws her knees up to her chest.]

I'm fine.

[Not really.]

[Belle wastes no time in crouching down so she's on a level with Star, setting the card carefully off to the side where no more shenanigans can happen first, and then reaches out to pat Star gingerly on the shoulder.]

Would you...like me to take it from you? You could have one of my cards, instead.

[Star knows she's a different Belle, but there's something really messed up about the idea of Belle as a ghost, too.]

N-no, it's okay, I'll just...toss it or something. I have plenty of cards.

Okay....Whatever makes you most comfortable.

[She rests both her hands on her knees now, still giving Star an encouraging smile.]

Is there anything I can do to help? That can't have been very nice...

[It's everything. She wants to go home. She wants to lock herself in the Dreamscape Room and never come out. She wants to be anywhere but here and being constantly reminded of the last horrible year of her life.]

I wish I could be another Star.

[The words 'You can't just be another Star' are halfway to her mouth before Belle remembers the hypocrisy of that statement; after all, isn't she another version of a different Belle that these people knew? She presses her lips together, and hangs her head a little.]

...I'm so sorry, Star. I don't know what exactly you went through, but...it can't have been easy. And I'm sorry I can't remember any of the things I'm meant to.
