Just Sit Right Back and You'll Hear a Tale
Who:Eclipsa and You!
What: All work and all play
Where: Magic Kingdom
When: Post-job announcements
Warnings: Living my fantasy of working on the Jungle Cruise
A. The Passengers Set Sail That Day for a Three Hour Tour
[Eclipsa's not a really big fan of work, per se. It was just so... slow. And required so much effort. She was far bigger on immediate solutions and instant benefits. She wasn't technically royalty anymore (or maybe she was more royal than anyone) but unofficially abdicating the throne didn't mean she was ready to do chores and other such nonsense.
On the other hand, she was in another world and various a chocolate addiction and vices to indulge in. And it was only polite to follow another culture's rules, to some extent. Also, petty larceny wasn't really an ideal thing to attempt when there weren't quite enough arrivals that matched her appearance that could be blamed.
Which brings her to her surprisingly enjoyable job as the Skipper. She's got a couple dozen floating teacups and two teapots floating alongside the passengers as they load into the boat.]
Good afternoon, dears. Do watch your step when getting on the ride, the piranhas didn't like the taste of the last group and they're looking for good toppings.
B. The Weather Started Getting Rough
[In her free time, however, Eclipsa's largely spending her time people watching. There's a pile of wrappers on her table, victims of her latest binge of sweets. She has very poor impulse control. She's interested in the rides but she's waiting to feel in a theme park mood before she tries broaching that territory.
Honestly she... can't help think about Mewni. It wasn't as if she felt any particular loyalty to the world. It kind of sucked, when you got down to it. And she'd already pretty much lost everything she recognized from 350 years ago. But it felt... strange. Losing it all again. And she was just starting to feel like there was something real she could grip onto again. Something to search for, something stable to hold onto.
So her little cat smile is more of a thousand-year stare into her soda at the moment.]
[ooc: Potential big, late Season 3 spoilers could be in prompt B threads, so that sort of thing will be an opt in scenario.]

If you're sitting in the back, you might get an extra charge out of the trip. You're sitting on the, erm... Battery, I think its called? I'm not particularly familiar let me just- [She pulls out a little pamphlet, reading carefully.]
"The battery is highly volatile and dangerous. Too much pressure can..." Well, I'll let it be a shocking surprise.

Yes, this is rather exciting, hm! A jungle adventure! Perhaps we'll run into a group of demons or jungle monsters. And they'll be a handsome one or three that happens to be single. Not for myself, of course, I'm happily married, but I'm sure there's some single ladies and gentlemen on this tour, hm?

[She gestures to the jungle plants as they pass by.] As you can see, we have lots of unique plant life here in the jungle. Not all of it legal in some of the parks. Grab some now folks if you're hoping to have an interesting evening in your hotel.

Just be sure to watch out for the carnivorous vines. We lost a child or two last week to one. They spew out this mist you're feeling on your faces right now but don't worry. As long as your hands and feet are inside the ride... you'll be feeling just vine.

How long did it take you to come up with that one?

As we pass Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Four Hour Line, we can see a bunch of albino hairless apes. [There's animatronic monkeys on the right.] Wave a greeting! Only polite really.
