[Wherever you are in the park, whether it's in the city or one of the more amusement park-type areas, you might see Tadashi wandering around...taking pictures. Apparently at at random, because he'll take a picture of an animal and then a random tree. Or a trash can.

He's also taking pictures of people, though. Mostly with permission. Anyone actively posing for a picture will get one sneakily taken of them, but he'll ask for most other people.]

Hey, excuse me. I need photos for a project...do you mind if I take yours? It'll only take a second.

[And he's holding up a camera that may or may not be borrowed. Please don't destroy it either way.]

[Bagheera frowns, tilting his head to the side. He only has a vague idea of what a camera is, but surely it can't hurt...]

Alright. But may I ask what the project is, first?

[tadaishi]

Sure, it's not like it's a secret.

I'm working on a robot, and since I don't have a computer set up to program facial recognition into it, I'm taking pictures so that it can recognize things that way.

[Mostly people, but animals and obstacles as well.]

... Interesting. And this robot, is it similar to our temporary mayor?

[The whole "Rod malfunctioning" fiasco had at least taught Bagheera a little bit about what robots are, though he's still perplexed by the details.]

[Feel free to ask Tadashi about robots, he's more than willing to explain them.]

Uh...sort of. Vaguely. I've been calling it 'Rod 2.0' for lack of a better name, but it doesn't really look much like him at all.

...Wait, do you mean Mayor Rod or Mayor Plankton?

Fair enough. Looks aren't everything, of course. I'm more curious as to how the thing even works in the first place.

Rod. I would never refer to Plankton as our "Mayor" outside of mocking him.

Hahaha, okay. I'm not a professional, but I'll try.

[He'll take several of her anyway, since it's a digital camera; he can delete the ones that aren't good.]

[She makes all sort of poses, which probably isn't helping.]

What're these for, anyway?

[He's not taking pictures of every pose, so it's okay.]

Teaching a robot to recognize faces. A low-tech way, but I arguably don't have to spend as much time in front of a computer screen.

[How about a chance to sneak a picture of Joshua here when he's not aware of your presence yet? He's sitting with coffee and a magazine like you'd expect, but judging by the way he's leaning his head against his head with his eyes closed, there's a chance he might have actually fallen asleep sitting in this spot...]

gonna assume one of those heads is a hand

[How do you ever fall asleep when you live on coffee?

And he'll definitely take that chance, sneaking around to get as good a shot of Joshua's face as he can. Joshua isn't a light sleeper, but out in the daylight he's not sure if the sound of the camera's mechanisms will wake him up.

...Well, they might not, but he's forgotten to turn the flash off, so that might. Oops.]

[Remarkably, Joshua doesn't seem to wake as you successfully acquire your picture.

That is, until he suddenly speaks soon after, eyes still closed.]

[And then Tadashi died again, of a heart attack.

Not really, but he does jump and fumble the camera.]

I was, until you gave me a heart attack.

Goodness, well it's good a thing you appear to have survived. It would be rather unfortunate if you had not recovered.

Good to know at least one person here would miss me.

[Maybe. He's pretty sure Joshua would miss him a little bit.

He's going to take a seat near Joshua--in a chair if one is available--and set the camera carefully down. Too much walking has happened so far today.]

Should've known you weren't asleep, you weren't snoring.

What? I don't snore. How dare you suggest such a slanderous accusation about me.

[tadaishi]

Me? I don't slander, I only tell the truth.

[He could think of worse things, but he's not going to. He is, however, going to steal some of that coffee if he can. Hopefully it's not one of those double-digit pump of syrup abominations.]

Wow, accusing us of snoring and stealing our coffee. When will your reign of terror cease?

also no it is actually not a syrup abomination this time: only one pump this time, honest!]

Never. Clearly you're unfazed by it, so torment will continue.

[He'll have to come up with more creative ways to torment, though.]

Clearly I have made a terrible mistake, allowing you to get away with this villainy for so long. I'll have to do something about it before it affects the good people of this city too.

[tadaishi]

Oh? How do you plan on doing that?

[He's trying not to laugh while he says this, even though he's not really trying to be 'villainous' anymore.]

Hmm... maybe I'll just have to hide all of your tools, or steal all the blankets next time when you're home...

[How is that even fair, Josh...]

[tadaishi]

[Josh that's weird.]

Hmm...I can continue my reign of terror or be warm. This is a tough decision.

[Though he notes that Joshua said 'steal' all the blankets and not 'hide' them.]

I could always just sleep on top of you and steal your warmth.

[lusito]

Oh no, anything but that. I'll have to think of a new strategy now to prevent such a tragedy.

[Said in probably the driest tone he's had thus far.]

[tadaishi]

...I didn't think that through very well, did I?

[lusito]

No, but it was cute to see you try.

[Joshua pats Tadashi's arm before he returns to his coffee.]

So why are you out here taking pictures today?

[beakie]

Meep?

[Beaker tilts his head and then shrugs. Well, why not? His lab coat is sort of singed right now, as is his hair, but it's fine. He tries and scrubs off a blue stain of...something from his coat.]

Meep meemiimeep meep meemoo meep?

[What exactly is this project of his?]

[tadaishi]

[Tadashi still does not speak meep, but he gets what Beaker's trying to get at.]

You look fine.

[He snaps a few pictures either way--it's probably for the best, as Beaker isn't always going to be neat in appearance.]

I'm taking photos so my robot can learn to recognize faces. It's not the most sophisticated way, but it's a little more fun in exchange.

[He poses briefly, and once Tadashi's taken the photos, he takes another moment or two to scrub at the stubborn stains on his shirt. However, he pauses and looks up once Tadashi mentions his robot.]

Oooh! Meep meemiimeep meemoo meep?

[Does it happen to be the one that was wandering around the city earlier?]

[tadaishi]

[He still doesn't understand Beaker half the time, but he can at least tell Beaker's interested in the robot.]

You're into robotics?

[Muppet engineer? It's not impossible...Tadashi's still trying to understand sentient felt beings. And talking animals, but that's a little easier to believe somehow.]

I've been working on one of my own...a while back it sort of escaped and gave itself a tour of the city.

[He punctuates the last bit of the sentence with a laugh; it's much funnier in hindsight, both that the robot didn't get damaged or destroyed and also that it escaped in the first place.]

[Beaker nods, which...is just bobbing his head up and down. Muppet anatomy is sort of restrictive.]

Meep moo! Meep meemiimeep meep meemoo. Meep meemiimeep, meep meemiimeep.

[Yes! He's worked a lot on robots in the past with his partner, Dr. Bunsen Honeydew. Though, lately he's been working on tuning up the animatronics in Bill's Lab.

Beaker tilts his head to the side. He's encountered that robot before, albeit briefly. He would be greatly interested in learning about any further developments! And Bill could probably spare additional parts, if he's feeling generous.]

[Wendy and Star are Tadashi's favorites today. They're actually helpful.]
