[The Fourth of July masquerade was... special! It's an event Wendy will hold in her heart, as well as the depths of her memories that she doesn't really enjoy thinking about. But it's all in the past now, and the Blot wasn't showing his dumb face. Life can continue.

And pizza, like life, is fleeting.

In an effort to put the thoughts of a failed murdergame behind her, Wendy took up more work, which just so happened to include a delivery girl position for Pizza Planet. The position worked best for her, due to a large use of her Wild Ride card. An awesome-looking gold cart careening through the streets and roads of the city would always be an attention grabber. Maybe you're the person that ordered in, maybe you're just nearby when the cart pulls up to the curb. Either way, she's here, never any worse for wear despite her driving habits.]

Hey! Got an order to delivery!

[Other times, mostly around lunchtime, you may catch Wendy sitting on a park bench, or a fountain's edge, or just the ground, surrounded by a few boxes of pizza. One box is open in her hands, and she's lazily munching away at the contents.

Obviously she wouldn't do this if it was against the rules. Right? She'll even wave you over, once she spots you.]

Ooh! Yes thank you, I ordered one.

[The Muppet Mobile Labs van is parked not too far while he's building something outdoors. Bunsen promptly pays for the pizza, then looks thoughtful.]

I've been thinking of hearing multiple people's input on this. Pizza for romantic dates are good, right?

[Either he's planning some weird muppet contraption, or bringing lunch to a certain someone, or both]

[Huh. She's not normally in this part of the city. Wendy casts a curious eye over at the Muppet Mobile Lab, and the thing apparently in some stage of construction nearby.

She pockets the cash, then looks back at him.]

Pizza for a date? Yeah, man, it's one of the best things there is. You uh, planning something special?

[Eclipsa just happens to be pulling to the dock with her last traumatized jungle cruise, as she waves down Wendy.]

Oh, dearie, is that my mud-pizza pie? I've been craving that scrumptious chocolate.

One sec. Whoa, watch it-

[She's gotta move through this sea of traumatized tourists, give her a sec.]

Hey! So, this is where you're working, huh? Pretty cool.

Its very nice, isn't it? I'm quite a fan of my little pleasure cruise set up. And you're doing food delivery I see! A vital task in our increasingly lazy social system.

Finally! About time!

[Pete lumbers over to the car and goes to take the pizza when he stops, glancing over his shoulder.]

You haven't seen that one-eyed fella around, have ya?

Yup. Just a side-job I thought I'd take up. Gotta have the extra money if something crazy happens again.

[Maybe she can throw money at the Blot to get him to stop being a jerk. That's how it works, right]

Also, your cruise looks kinda spooky, judging from the people I just had to walk through.

Hey man, not like I can be everywhere when I feel like it.

[Wendy glances up at this absolute unit. Huh, never met this guy yet.]

Huh? What, are you talking about Plankton?

Don't them cards do nothin' for ya?

[Pete looks over his other shoulder for good measure before carefully taking the pizzas.]

Yeah, yeah, that guy. Last time I had a buncha pizzas, he stole 'em right from under my whiskers! I gave him a poundin' he won't forget anytime soon, but oooh, if I see him anywhere near these pies again....

[He goes to smash his fists together when a loud CRUNCH is heard. Surprised, Pete glances down at his hands to see the pizza boxes crushed into a ball, oil sadly dripping from them. He growls, frustrated.]

Aw, nuts.

[Closing time. The best time. Time to clean up and pack up. She did her usual cashier things, and looked around for Wendy.

The whole situation at the gala was a thing. Daria had her problems with it but she did the best she could do with it as it happened. Life went on regardless. But Wendy didn't quit on her, so Daria really wanted to be around for her.]

A safety blanket of funds does seem like a good idea. I assume. I've only ever been rich or imprisoned, so my needs are usually fairly handled.

Oh, yes, its a rollicking good time! Journey through the river, see some jungle creatures, hear my colorful commentary... Its a lot of good fun.

[The best time of the day, when they are finally free to pack up and go home. Its started to become a sort of pattern for them, one that Wendy's found herself comfortable in.

Wendy was currently waiting at the front door, making sure Daria would leave at the same time as her, instead of being accidentally locked inside the restaurant. That wouldn't be fun for anyone.]

Oh yeah? Neat, maybe I'll come around sometime and see for mysel-Wait, what?

You were imprisoned once? And rich?

S'not like I can teleport across the city, dude. I even upgraded my golf cart so I could get around quicker.

[Speaking of, she snaps her fingers and the cart disappears, turning back into her Wild Ride card.]

Seriously? He stole pizzas? That's-

[Oh. Oof. She winces at the waste of several perfectly good pizzas, and is silently thankful she already got paid.]

...Yeesh. Was this like, before or after he was mayor?

[Ah there she was, time to go on ahead and get on the heckie out of here. Now, many days before this she was just wanting to go home but...something was a bit different today.]

Where you off to tonight? I assume our freedom means another night of crazy happenings for you.

...Really? Cuz that sounds kinda complicated.

[But it sounds right up the alley of someone who was put through a year of ghosts and animatronics, plus the whole Gravity Falls Situation beforehand.]

Hey, Star. [she says, barely turning her head, and through a mouthful of pizza, so it comes out like 'hffh stmmhh'.]

Huh? Oh, uh... [Normally, this would be playing out with them saying their passing farewells, or a ride back to Vista Way if they were both heading that way. This night, however...]

Actually, I was thinking of checking out the Adventurer's Club again. See how they're doing after that dude crashed the party, maybe grab something to snack on.

[He lets out a harumph, wiping his greasy gloves on his disgusting overalls.]

He was mayor of this rotten city? Who the heck would elect a rotten, sniveling person like him?

[Like, he only just got here after everything went down. He probably would've punched Plankton in the face if he had been here.]

By the way, how long would it take fer another pizza to get here?

Oh, why thank you dearie. Yes, I made sure to moisturize and condition before I went under the ice. If I was going to be frozen for potentially eternity, I'd want to look my best, you know?

Like, all the other rotten, sniveling people around here? I think there was a club at one point. Don't even get me started on that one guy, Jerry Mander.
