thanos reigns.
Who: Thanos and you!
What: Thanos arrives and is perplexed.
Where: Progress City Rec Center, Pink District/Adventurer's Club, EPCOT
When: Backdated to a little before the baby race.
Warnings: Infinity War Spoilers
a. rec center
[This wasn't where he expected to wake up. But none truly knew the chaotic energy that all six Infinity Stones would be capable of harnessing, and the appearance of a ticket in his hands a mere moment after snapping was not the strangest thing. Neither was waking up here immediately after.
Mildly inconvenient, perhaps. But there were much worse places to end up.
Thanos seeks out immediate answers, of course. But when he's informed that his situation might not be immediately fixable, Thanos decides that this is no time to allow himself to fall to slothfulness. He will seek out those responsible, of course, but he opts to spend time learning the city first.
He can be found in the rec center gym, mainly concentrating on using the punching bags set up there. At one point, he manages to send one of them flying up against a wall. He does so with hardly wincing.]
I'll require better equipment in the future.
b. pink district/adventurer's club
[Quaint. Thanos was familiar with the idea of a community market, of course. Such things were indicactive of societies with enough to spare, and perhaps ones that had grown too fat with spoils.
Yet, despite that...it seemed as though the denizens of the city hadn't become hyperfixated on their own possessions. Despite the capitalistic intent of the location, being practically slapped on to a theme park, it seemed as though the place itself was more providing of it's people.
Odd.
Thanos spends a small amount of time browsing the marketplace before settling down at the Adventurer's Club later on, ordering a small glass of wine for himself. This was a human indulgence, and he finds it...interesting.]
c. epcot
[The first park he bothers visiting is EPCOT - the themes mentioned are much more interesting than the idea of immersing himself in a "storybook land" or what-have-you. This was much more tangible, and he spends his time exploring. While he hardly agrees with the idea of anchoring what is essentially a utopia to a series of theme parks, he can't find flaws with the city's design.
He'll be mostly moving around the World Showcase, visiting bookstores and taking in each area's theming. It was impressive, if nothing else.]
